Eaden: John Eaden in Capt. Evans’ company, 100a on watercourse Long Creek, 1 white male over 21, 3 horses, total value 200; also Jobe Eaden in Capt. Siddens Co.;  James Eaden, in Capt. Shickles Co., no land reflected for either.  First time an Eaden appears is Jobe in 1831 with 60 acres and Will Eaden with 100 acres, both on L Creek.  There are no Eatons in any of these tax lists.  Other Eadens are: Absalom (first appears 1838), Boyle (1833), F. (1833), Jobe Jr. (1838), and Henry (1836).
