Charleston Gazette-Mail, Sunday, 31 Dec 1972:

Amos William Baldwin, 45, of 306 1/2 Joseph St. died today at his home following a short illness.

He had been employed as a book binder with local printing companies.

Surviving: brothers, Emory Vincent, Russell and Charles Baldwin of Charleston.

Service and burial will be 1 p.m. Monday at the Jordan Cemetery on Tuppers Creek with the Rev. Howard Withrow officiating.

Friends may call at the Cunningham Funeral Home.


Charleston Gazette, 06 Mar 1948:

BURDETTE, Mrs. Jemmia Baldwin—72, died at the home ol a son, Theodore Baldwin, 1429 Frame St. Surviving also are her husband, Henry Burdette; two daughters, Mrs. Oracle Jones, Tyler, Mt.; Mrs. Ruby Burdette of Legg; four other sons, Arnold Baldwin, Charleston; Archie of Legg; Ernay of Sissonville, Okey of Wellsburg; 32 grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren. The body is at the Long, Johnson & Fisher mortuary.
