We have been researching all Thaxton / Thackston families and descendants in the U.S. for more than 25 years. (Our line is through Thomas Thackston of Virginia, Caswell Co., N.C., Pendleton Dist., S.C., and Allen Co., Kentucky.) We have walls of file cabinets of material and 20,000+ in our database. One of us also works near the world’s largest genealogy library in Salt Lake City and is happy to do lookups.
